The NordicTrack T Series consists of 4 treadmills that are ideal for users of different fitness levels.

For this review, we’ll look at the most popular treadmill in this series, the NordicTrack T 6.5 S treadmill. Here is my firsthand experience with this versatile treadmill.

Frame: My home is small and this kind of limits the machines I can get for my home gym. I always opt for equipment that is either foldable or that is kind of vertical, for example hiit trainers.

I went for this machine because the frame is foldable and boy, it was the best decision ever. The first thing I noted about this treadmill with iFit is its strong frame.

It’s steel; pure solid steel. You’ll love the feel. The high quality steel is for durability. It’s coated with rust resistant, corrosion resistant paint so you can have the machine for year without and it’ll still look as good as new.

As I stated earlier, the frame is larger, about 73 x 36 x 54 inches, and foldable to about 38 x 36 x 67.5 inches. And no, you don’t have to struggle to fold it; it’s equipped with the NordicTrack’s Easy Lift Assist mechanism that allows the treadmill to fold automatically in one step.

Comfort: One of the main reasons why people quit mid their workout journey is fatigue and this is commonly caused by uncomfortable fitness equipment.

NordicTrack has designed the T 6.5 S with the user in mind. To ensure user comfort, this treadmill with iFit comes with a wide and large enough running deck. The size of the deck makes it the perfect treadmill for sprinting.

Apart from its size, the belt features FlexSelect cushioning. ‘What’s that?’ You may ask. FlexSelect technology is a unique type of treadmill belt cushioning that ensures the belt is shock absorbing without adding too many layers to the running deck. This technology makes sure all exercises are low impact, protecting knees, joints, and back.

Console: For the console you’ll get a 5-inch backlit, full color display. This is smaller than what other treadmills in the T series offer but it’s still a nice size.

Through the console you can track your basic data i.e. distance covered, calorie burn, time, heart rate, and speed. Through the console, you can also change the incline level and choose a program from the 20 preset exercises or workout using iFit.
